NATURE'S PALETTE

In Spring She paints with pastels and lace.
Summer brings hues and all shades of green.
Fall is a riot of golds, yellows, reds, and
colors for which we clumsy humans have no words.
In Winter She is subdued in a palette of grays
made interesting by play of shadow and light.
