HUMANS AND TREES
Trees; we love them, we have worshiped them; they are universal symbols found in the mythologies of all peoples around the world; they are ancient symbols of growth, unfolding shelter, nurture. They are seen as gatekeepers to the next world and to other realms. They are touted as the keepers of higher vision and the absorbers of its higher knowledge and wisdom.
The correlation between their life cycle and humanity’s is seen as a bridge between us and the Earth and the Heavens. And, to further intertwine us with the trees, our environment depends upon them and theirs upon us....we share breath and because of this, the tree is a wonderful metaphor for our condition of growth and health.
Trees and humans can be broken down into “like” parts. A humans physical foundations correspond the the trees lower trunk and roots. Like a tree we must pay attention to what we are growing in, our soil, air and water (what type of environment are we creating with our thoughts, perceptions, judgments and responses). We have to be pruned (loss and renewal) in order to achieve growth.
Just as a tree is open to damage from outside sources such as insects and pollution, we are too. If we are not aware about keeping out spiritual, mental and emotional energies balanced, the imbalance will work its way into our physical body and show up as illness. This is why learning that we truly operate on different levels within us is very important.
Learn to take care of your balance of body, mind and spirit so that as you grow and evolve into the wonderful person you are meant to be, your path will be a joyous and blessing filled one.

What Are You Thinking?(About)
What Are You Thinking?(About)
Grant Morris said, “Your head's like mine, like all our heads; big enough to
contain every god and devil there ever was. Big enough to hold the weight of
oceans and the turning stars. Whole universes fit in there! But what do we
choose to keep in this miraculous cabinet? Little broken things: sad trinkets
that we play with over and over. The world turns our key, and we play the same
little tune again and again and we think that tune's all we are.”
Unfortunately, he is correct. Humans have a tendency to keep and hold all the
hurtful and broken bits of life. We hang on to them like they are our defining
images. Because we identify so strongly with and invest so much emotion and
energy into these nasty little tidbits that we eventually manifest that broken
energy as the person we project to the world. We actually believe that it is
these “sad little trinkets” that define us and so that is what we become;
“…little broken things…playing the same little tune again and again and we
think that tune's all we are.” Personally, I don’t feel that I want to be sad,
broken, small, or having the “world turning my key” so that I dance to the
tunes of others. I want to be my own master and play my own music and be all
that I can be but, I am asked often, is this change possible?
Consider that Morris also said “Your head's like mine, like all our heads;
big enough to contain every god and devil there ever was. Big enough to hold
the weight of oceans and the turning stars. Whole universes fit in there!” so
I challenge you to see this side of being human; this part of us that will
allow us to do away with the false beliefs and notions and allow the seeing of
the magnificent, positive thoughts and universes that we can embrace and
create.
Everything
in life should please and astonish you with its awesomeness and that is what
you should embrace. Embrace it, hold it close, share it with everyone and let
it shine out from your innermost being. Understand that you can change what you
think about as well as how you think about things. By doing this one thing you
can and will turn your whole world around and make it the beautiful, exciting
and loving place you live in. Consider this as you form your opinions and
beliefs from now on.

WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE?
WHAT DO YOU CHOOSE?
The dictionary tells us that “choice” means;
1 : the act of choosing : SELECTION (finding)
2 : power of choosing : OPTION (you)
3 a : the best part : CREAM b : a person or thing chosen (she)
4 : a number and variety to choose among (a)
5 : care in selecting
6 : a grade of meat between prime and good— of choice : to be preferred
Synonyms; CHOICE, OPTION, ALTERNATIVE, PREFERENCE, SELECTION, ELECTION mean the
act or opportunity of choosing or the thing chosen. CHOICE suggests the
opportunity or privilege of choosing freely (freedom). OPTION implies a power
to choose that is specifically granted or guaranteed (the).
Why is making a choice important? The importance lies in the degree of maturity
and enlightenment that is reached when you realize that you have the ability to
come from a conscious, aware act that exercises your privilege to take the
opportunity to use your innate power to choose how to do anything you desire.
The conscious awareness of this ability and the understanding of its’
importance is one of the greatest steps in the positive direction of your
growth toward being whole, balanced and closer to the higher Universal
vibrations that you are striving for. This is an important action toward taking
you power back; of becoming the person that you truly want to be.
Choose love; Choose gratitude; Choose positivity; Choose empathy; Choose
caring; Choose truth and honesty; Choose to be generous; Choose integrity;
Choose perseverance; Choose actions that are worthy of you; and Choose to
evolve.

I LOVE THIS PERSON BUT WHERE DO THEIR ACCUSATIONS COME FROM?
BUT WHERE DO THEIR ACCUSATIONS COME FROM?
Those of you who have taken Evolution of Self; Journey into Body, Mind, Spirit
Balance are familiar with the terms, “core values”, “life experiences” and
“mind-stream ©”. These are imbedded, deeply seated programs that run under
every action you take and every idea or perception that you have about the
world and the people around you. All of these reactions are filtered through
your programs. People will respond from these two bases of operation every
time; the higher the stress, the closer to this basis one’s reactions are.
The more enlightened person has gone within and examined their personal
programming and taken the proper steps to correct what they can and rise above
what they cannot. The less enlightened person continues to operate from a less
evolved standpoint.
One’s core values are the “lines you will not cross or tolerate”; lying,
stealing, murder, judgment and the like. Everyone has them in differing degrees
but not everyone adheres to them in all situations. The challenge is how high
you set your personal bar and how often you choose to limbo under it. The more
enlightened, higher vibrational a person, the truer they will be to these core
values and the less they will accept lowered values in those around them. I am
not speaking of judgment here; I mean that they will just not be around those
who are not coming from a like starting point.
For those who have not yet done the work to better themselves, you will find
that they are either living with and operating from either denial or ignorance.
If they are coming from denial, they will more likely than not, wish to stay
where they are. This comes from “the demon you know” thought process. Humans
get comfortable with the situation in which they find themselves most often and
choosing to see the need for change is scary and uncomfortable. Stepping out of
one’s comfort zone into the unknown is often so frightening as to be
paralyzing.
Once it is
realized that “When you get to the end of all the light you know and it's
time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two
things shall happen: either you will be given something solid to stand on, or
you will be taught how to fly.” (Edward Teller) you will be able to find
the strength and faith in yourself to move away from the pain and toward
growth, positivity and enlightenment.
Denial is a
tough nut to crack and best done from the INSIDE realizing that something is
wrong and feeling the need to WANT to change. Until the person comes to this
understanding within themselves, trying to ‘change them’ or ‘show them ‘the
error of their ways’ is frustrating, futile and self-defeating and it really
annoys them.
If on the other hand the person in question is coming from a platform of
ignorance; they will more than likely see (eventually) where their work needs
to begin. This dawning usually comes (most of the time slowly but each person’s
timetable is different) from the observation of those around them who are
making life work. The ignorance begins to lift, and the person begins to
question their place in the scheme of things and find their answers, which of
course leads to more questions…more answers…more questions… etc. but that is
how growth and waking up works.
Life experiences are what any person has lived through. They are the lessons
each person learns (or doesn’t) about the results they received from the
choices that they have made throughout their respective life time. These
experiences color a person’s feelings, ideas and perceptions about everything
on many levels. As with anything else, these can be changed for the person’s
betterment and for the greater good should the person choose to do so. The
awareness of the fact that one always has choices is what brings on the desire
to want to choose to change and that depends upon one’s mind-stream©. If the person lives with and enjoys
the perceived benefits of victim think, chances are they will not want to
choose change. Once you are aware that you make your own destiny, you are
either freed or you run and hide. Hiding from the truth of a situation is never
the right choice. If you can learn to look for solutions rather than problems,
your life will be awesome!
Now ones “mind-stream”© refers to the path ones thought
processes generally run. If a person bases their existence on lying to get by,
that person thinks everyone lies and therefore they project that onto the world,
so they trust no one. The person whose mindset is to steal, cheat, make
excuses, slack off, or any other thing one can accuse another of doing works
the same way; abuse begets abuse and mind-set begets mind-set. If, however
(once again at the risk of repeating myself) you have chosen to go within and
examine and redirect your mind-stream so that you have changed these
perceptions of the world and understand all of these human short comings you
see that there are things and people you don’t need to try and fix. This is
true because, you are the only one you can control. The mature, enlightened
individual can and does allow others and things to just be what they are.
Your best help for humanity is to show all those around you a life well lived
and one that is working. As my mother used to say, “Tend to your knitting
and others will tend to theirs or they won’t. If you are busy doing the right
thing, you will spread that behavior to those watching you.”

ON WAKING UP
ON WAKING UP
When we are born the Creator gives us everything we need to know to achieve our
life’s mission but, because we are required to live on this plane this
information becomes forgotten. It is overwritten by other programming, like an
overwrite command on a computer.
The village who raises us attempts to shape us in their image so that we can
learn from their life experiences. This is all well and good for a while and it
is done for our benefit, or so the village believes, but when it is time for
changes to begin in your life, it is unsettling for those who have been
steering you for so long. They may try to challenge your attempt to stretch and
find your own way but that is OK, stretch anyway. Look for your forgotten
birthright, remember, become consciously aware, and wake up.
“When you begin to remember who and what you are after being made into
something/someone else by the needs and desires of others; you begin your
journey into conscious awareness…you begin to wake up.” (Chessie Roberts
Evolution of Self; Journey into Body, Mind, Spirit Balance)
To wake up is to begin to question all of the things that you once held as
true. It is to realize that you have made choices, whether you knew it at the
time or not. It is to dig into those choices and to decide which ones you
should hang on to, and which are no longer serving you. It is the ability to
make the now informed decision to let go of all of your old thought processes,
without shame or anger, and to grow forward with your life. It is to reconnect
with your higher self, to raise your vibrations toward the love and light that
put you on this plane in the first place. It is to embrace unconditional love
of yourself, mankind and the planet. It is to evolve, to reach for the next
level, to fulfill your purpose and to share your journey with the seekers
around you. It is to bloom where you grow and to spread happiness, joy and love
to all who cross your path.
I bid you good morning and Bright Blessings in your evolution. Chessie
