YOU ARE DENIED NOTHING, EVER!

             YOU ARE DENIED NOTHING, EVER!

What makes you angry, sad, miserable, jealous, ashamed, guilty? How about indifferent, vengeful, disdainful, demanding, hopeless or apathetic? Know that all of these emotions come from the fear end of your emotional spectrum.

Each and every one of these emotions does several things to you,

1) they make you ill on some level of your being,

 2) they lower your spiritual vibrations so that you are farther and farther from your source which will make it harder for you to get back up there, and

3) they will bring down everyone around you until you are surrounded by those who like it down there or

4) you will have no support at all. And

5) YOU WILL GET MORE OF WHAT IS BOTHERING YOU.

The reason for this is that the Universe has no filters. It hears/feels your emotions and gives you more of whatever your emotions are putting out there. So, you ask, “How do I turn this around?”

You start by changing your emotional response to everything. Don’t panic, you can do this. Begin by looking for things, anything, that make your emotions respond from the love end of the spectrum. What makes you feel loving, merciful, at peace, satisfied, joyous, blissful, understanding or forgiving? How about illuminated, serene, or optimistic? All of these come from the love end of the spectrum and they raise your vibrations up to meet the Universe, and it responds to them too. The difference is in what you receive, MORE OF WHAT YOU DO WANT.

Which way do you want your life to go; up or down; into love or fear; into want and need or abundance and prosperity? The choice is yours to make. Remember, you are denied nothing, ever, all you need to do if ask/feel.

WHERE IS YOUR FOCUS?

                WHERE IS YOUR FOCUS?

When you contemplate your life and where it is now and where it is going, where is your focus? Are you looking at what you have or what you don’t have? What are you miserable about or what are you grateful for? Where have you been or where are you going? What do you truly want or what you think you should want? Are you concerned about what others think you should be doing or are you focused on what you truly want to be doing?

In short are you living your life or one that others have told you that you should be living? If you are not happy in your life, what are you doing to change it? Do you know how to change?

Let’s talk about your mind-stream for a moment. Your mind-stream is what I call your regular or constant thought track. If you are in the habit of thinking about what you don’t want, like, feel etc. what you are actually doing is calling all of that into your life, especially if you feel any emotion about these thoughts. The Universe hears/feels your negative, hurtful and ugly vibrations of “don’t/can’t have” and answers, “OK, you’ve got it.”

Let’s turn that around to a better way. Decide what you truly want and get emotional about that. The Universe will hear/feel your raised, positive, loving vibrations and answers, “OK, you’ve got it.”

OK now ask yourself which of these is better for, and more worthy of you? Do you want to lower your life’s vibrations and wallow in victim think? Or would you rather raise your vibrations to meet those of the Universe and become the happy, successful “I CAN” that you were meant to be? As always, the choice is yours and up to you.

I wish you best, worthy, balanced choices and bright blessings Chessie

WHEN I AM THE ENEMY WHO MUST BE LOVED

WHEN I AM THE ENEMY WHO MUST BE LOVED

CG Jung said, “That I feed the hungry, forgive an insult and love my enemy- these are great virtues. But what if I discover that the poorest of beggars and the most impudent of offenders are all within me, and that I stand in need of the alms of my own kindness; that I myself am the enemy who must be loved- what then?”

As we grow and learn how to become the best person we can become, we often find ourselves in the position of being our own worst enemy; weak and “most impudent of offenders”. Not only that, but we realize that we are the ones who put ourselves in our current state of needing love, healing, understanding and forgiveness.

Self-love, kindness and forgiveness are things that we learn to suppress in our culture. They are seen as being selfish and self-serving when in actuality you must love and forgive yourself before being able to truly love another. Sort of like putting on your own oxygen mask before helping the person next to you on a plane. This wisdom is born of maturity, healing, growth and experience.

Maybe it is then, when you feed, heal, love and forgive yourself first that you are strong enough to give to others. If your well is dry, if your need is great then you don't have much to share; but still, if you attempt sharing while caring for yourself, you will receive what you need and grow.

DON’T SUFFER OVER YOUR OWN SUFFERING

DON’T SUFFER OVER YOUR OWN SUFFERING

When I lived in California, I studied Siddha Yoga under a very lovely Guru named Gurumayi Chidvilasananda and one of her teachings was to “not suffer over your own suffering.” The long and short of it is to stop wallowing.

One of the foibles of humanity is that we can and do get caught up in our own problems, angsts and importance. If something goes wrong in our little sphere of life it can become the most heinous thing going on. If you aren’t sure exactly what I mean, talk to a teenaged girl and all will become clear.

Sure, things happen that make us angry and feel like asking “why me?!” but let it be known that those things happen to everyone at some time or another as well as by one degree or another. Usually, once they are over, you realize that the event wasn’t really all that important in the grand scheme of things. When we suffer over what we feel is going wrong in life, the emotions that creates will overpower our ability to see the good that is always there, thus lowering our overall vibration and that is detrimental to us. (Not to mention the people around us)

To recognize that we are wallowing is to be able to stop. In Evolution of Self; Journey into Mind, Body, Spirit Balance, we learn that sometimes we need to wallow or be angry, but we find that it is exhausting to do it for very long. (because it lowers our vibrations)

But, when it feels necessary to go through a tantrum, set a timer for no more than 15 minutes and wallow or stomp around as much as you like. (do this in private) When the timer goes off…STOP. Regain your composure and start again. It works every time. You get your frustration out without making yourself look or feel foolish and then get on with your life in a more positive, clear headed, life affirming manner.

Learning to recognize wallowing for what it is gives a very powerful tool to get us to our goal of wholeness. Bright Blessings, Chessie

VIBRATE WITH WHAT YOU DESIRE AND WHAT YOU DESIRE WILL VIBRATE WITH YOU

VIBRATE WITH WHAT YOU DESIRE AND WHAT

YOU DESIRE WILL VIBRATE WITH YOU

There is a phenomenon in the field of physics called entrainment. You may have experienced it at a stop light. Have you ever been sitting at a long light and noticed all of the turn signals seem to be blinking in the same rhythm? Or maybe you’ve been in a clock shop and realized all the clocks were ticking in time with each other? I’m sure you have heard that if several women live in close quarters for prolonged periods of time their moon cycles will occur at that same time?

All of these instances are examples of entrainment. This happens when the vibrations of several things mesh and move together in the same rhythm. This is very useful information to have when you consider that the creative ‘stuff’ of the Universe vibrates too. When we desire to manifest something in our lives, we tune our vibrations of our desire so that entrainment with Universal creation happens and your desires will manifest faster and be more in line with what is worthy of you and what you truly want.

Consider this when you feel frustration about something. Where are your vibrations coming from? Are they coming from a feeling of love or fear? Frustration comes from the fear end of the spectrum of emotions so that it is in the low vibration level. Anything born from this level will manifest ugly, unworthy things that create more of what you truly do not want in your life. If, however, you can let your frustration turn to a more love-based feeling, you will find your vibrations rising to a higher level, one more in tune with the Universe and its creation causing better things to come to you.

Wishing you all the wonderful things you deserve. With gratitude, love and Bright Blessings, Chessie

YOU CAN’T STAND IN THE SAME RIVER TWICE

YOU CAN’T STAND IN THE SAME RIVER TWICE

Because the rivers’ water is constantly moving, it is constantly new at any given point. Stand in the water and watch as it swirls and flows around your legs. You may be standing in the same place but the water that you initially stepped into is gone. It has been replaced with new, different water. You may be the same, but the river is not.

I have found that change is inevitable no matter who you are nor what your belief system. As your life is the river in question you either grow with it, or you do not. Learning what still works for you and keeping it, as well as what does not and letting it go, so that you have room to grow allows you to keep up with your river.
Growth is better than stagnation. Growth gives you new opportunities, new friends, new experiences and new ways to share with others. Stagnation gives you pain, frustration, illness, and a wasted life.

When you look back at the river of your life what do you want to see in its’ wake? Growth and opportunity taken and applied or regret and remorse? Here’s to every one’s river, free flowing, ever changing and ever giving to all you meet.

JUST WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HAUL AROUND

JUST WHAT DO YOU WANT TO HAUL AROUND
AND HOW MANY TIMES DO YOU WANT TO WALK THROUGH IT?

I have had an occasion to speak to a group of people who told me that they felt compelled to do some rather nasty things to others because some rather nasty things had been done to them.

OK, let’s talk about that. Use your imagination to take all of the nasty, mean and ugly things that have EVER happened to you and see them as a huge pile of manure. Your pile may be larger or smaller than other persons’, but it is your pile therefore it is the most important for this exercise.

Now you have a few choices. You can choose to haul it around for the rest of your life while it gets larger and smellier hoping someone will ‘fix’ it for you (good luck with that one). Or you can choose to use it as an excuse to be mean to others and that is the first aspect of this question we will discuss today.

Every time you use your pile of manure to be hateful (that word means ‘full of hate’ by the way) this it what you are really doing. You are choosing, with great effort, to pull your pile of manure around in front of you and then you are choosing to walk through it one more time. Each time you choose/decide to do this, you get some on you, making you relive the whole nasty business over and over again. Because of this practice, your life is probably not getting any better, is it? Now ask yourself, is that what you really want, to be stuck in Manureville for the rest of your life? Somehow, I don’t think so or you wouldn’t be here.

So, as the second aspect of our question; what is a good, positive, healthy choice for getting rid of your pile?

I strongly suggest that you choose to go through your pile and get rid of it by using it to

1.) Fertilize your learning (as in what not to do again),

2.) Deciding what you can choose to forgive and thereby dismiss, (i.e., let it go) and

3.) Then decide what is just not worth your notice or worthy of you so you truly let it go (it wasn’t worth keeping in the first place).

Simple? Yes. Easy? Not really but if your goal is the choice to be whole and balanced it is well worth the effort. I did it; others in the program have done it, so can you. I promise you that when you decide to truly look at your life and choose to begin to raise your vibrations to match the vibrations of the Energy of the Universe, this task will not seem as daunting as it might right now.
So, Bright Blessings and Good Choices, Chessie
