WHAT AM I?

WHAT AM I?

Because I am the energy of creation; its’ vessel and its conduit; I am
connected to an unlimited abundance. Who and what I require
appears at exactly the correct time.” {C. S. Roberts} Evolution of
Self; Journey into Body, Mind, Spirit Balance

You are NOT what you see in the mirror. You are a soul first and a
biological vehicle secondly. You, me, all of us are souls that animate
the bodies in which we travel. Without the animating force of the
soul we would be nothing. We would not be able to feel, create,
share, love, manifest, or anything else. As “pieces of The Divine
Energy” we are powerful and loving. So what is the catch you may
well ask. The catch is that we have to remember what we truly are.
As we grow up and learn what we and others feel we need to know
to get along in this mundane life, we forget our true origins. Don't
panic here, it is natural and we all do it BUT, we do not have to stay
ignorant of where we came from and what we truly are.

What do I need to do to remember?” I was asked by a friend of mine
recently. Ready? What you need to do is... pay attention to what is
no longer serving you, what is not making sense to you anymore and
remember. Sounds tricky right? Not really. As you begin to question
things that you once took as truth, you know the things I am
referring to, those things that make you wonder “why it might be
so”; things that make you wonder “how someone may have thought
'that' up”! You start looking for better answers to those questions
and, as you look, you realize that most of the questions just aren't
important any more (most never were) You may find that a lot of the
answers will come from an acceptance on a Faith Base rather than
on a “statics, charts and graphs base.” You learn to “feel” the
rightness of a thing, situation or experience and by that feeling,
know that it is correct for you.

As this growth process continues, you realize that what is right for
you may or may NOT be right for someone else and that it is OK.
We all learn differently and that's OK. We all have different life
experiences and understandings and that is OK. What is correct for
you may resonate with another, and it may not and that too is OK.

The truth that makes you, you is not always the truth that makes
someone else themselves and that is OK as well. When you reach the
level that allows you to be you and others to be who and what they
are, with no judgment, criticism or manipulation on your part, then
you have remembered fully what and who you truly are.
You are ready for whatever YOUR next step may be.

Bright Blessings and happy remembering, Chessie

YOUR ROOT CHAKRA

                                CHAKRA ONE

Chakra one is located at the base of your spine and corresponds to your coccyx bone and the lowest nerve bundle in your biology.

Each chakra has an elemental correspondence and the one for this area is Earth. Earth represents your form, stability, your most condensed state of matter. This makes it ideal for the lowest (not the least important) end of the chakra spectrum.
This chakra is visualized in a deep, vibrant red. This is the color of the beginnings and life. Red is also the longest wavelength and the slowest vibration in the human spectrum of sight. The Sanskrit name for this area means ‘root’ or ‘support’ which is just what it is.

Its’ job is to be the first line of support in your energy support system. Here is where your sciatic nerve is located. It is the largest and longest peripheral nerve in your body, and it is this that keeps your connection to the sustaining Earth.
This is where your survival impulses connect; where needs such as food, shelter, clothing and physical health arise. Your survival energies (just like everything else) must be balanced and directed in a healthy way so as not to dominate your every moment.

When this base is under stimulated, you can become consumed by fears of losing food, clothing and/or shelter. This fear will cause loss of health in your physical body. You can become stuck here, creating a self-defeating spiral that is detrimental to your growth in any direction and your health on all levels. This will create a loop of unresolved conflicts in your system leading to an ever downward spiral with the feeling that you have no control. You will develop what I call the ‘Eeyore Syndrome’ causing you to lose friends, lose your support. Then lose yourself to ‘victim think’.

When this base chakra is over stimulated you become attached to things in the physical world. This is where pack rat/hoarders, shop-a-holics and the need to ‘keep up with the Joneses’ comes from. If any of this sounds or feels familiar you may want to do a little work here.

You know you’re balanced when all your needs are comfortably met; if your physicality has no issues with survival and you have no nagging feeling that ‘something is wrong with you’. It is never too late to reassess and to create changes and grow toward betterment.

Your body is the home of your spirit so it must be balanced in all areas. You must be consciously aware of what is going on inside. Remember, the physical world is not your goal, it is just a tool to help you learn what lessons you have been put here to learn. Lessons that will lead to you raising your spirituality and rejoining you body mind and spirit to achieve the balance that you are striving for.

RECAP OF CHAKRA ONE
1) Root, base
2) Is your connection to spirit
3) Being at home on the Earth
4) Security
5) Survival

Physicality; controls your spine and base, feet immune system and skeleton
Issues; survival, instincts (i.e. Work family, health, trust, nourishment, fitness.)

Blocked by; fear

Unblocked by; surrendering all your fears to the flow of Universal energy.

MIND, BODY, SPIRIT BALANCE; WHATS’ THE TIE IN?

 MIND, BODY, SPIRIT BALANCE; INTRODUCTION

                         WHAT’S THE TIE IN?

So far in this blog series, I have talked about the body and a lot about the mind as well as a bit about spirit. I have even addressed balance, but what ties them together? What is the core that makes this a functioning, cyclical and renewing system? The answer is our energetic spine.

Just as the spine in our physical body carries the nerves and vessels that nourish and inform our physicality and mind so that we are functioning as well as possible, our energetic spine creates the conduit that connects spirit with biology so that we are linked in a balanced way. For this conversation we will refer to the energetic spine as our chakra (say chock- rah) system.

For the sake of keeping things in an understandable order, I will start at the bottom and work upward. I want to say before I get started that in working with the chakra system you will find that the learning and function will not be linear. While each chakra builds upon the ones under it, as well as depends on the ones above it, the “Ah-ha moments” that will occur during your studies will cause you to revisit chakras that you thought you were finished with. This re-visitation is a normal process and function of living, learning, gaining wisdom, and growing, so don’t let it throw you. As you progress through each level of your chakra system, you will have more and more of these insights that will lead to more growth, learning and sharing.

As I have told you before, Evolution of Self; Journey into Mind, Body, Spirit Balance is an experiential processes that uses many different philosophies and this is only one of them. I feel that you will benefit a great deal from a better understanding of how you work as a whole. Your body and mind need spiritual connection in order to create the balance that is required for a balanced, whole, happy life style. The following chakra blogs will just brush the surface of each level, the classes go deeper, but there is usable information that will benefit you.
Next week I will address chakra 1. Until then,

Bright Blessings, Chessie

HATE IS A 4 LETTER WORD AND HAS NO PLACE WITHIN A POSITIVE PERSONS VOCABULARY

HATE IS A 4 LETTER WORD AND HAS NO PLACE WITHIN A POSITIVE PERSON’S VOCABULARY

“There is not a single instance in history where hate has brought joy to human beings. Hate destroys those who hold it in their minds and bodies. If humanity released all hate, fear, and resentment, then no dictator could ever rise, and we would have peace on earth. Peace on earth can occur only through peace within each of us.” (The Secret Daily Teachings)

I hear people say that “h” word all of the time and it hurts my soul to hear it. I found while doing research for Evolution of Self that the mere sound of the word does damage to our bodies. Dr Emoto in his book “The Hidden Messages in Water” explains this phenomenon quite well. I also discovered that calling this feeling into our biology creates free radicals which cause illness.

When I say something to friends about the constant use of this word, they laugh and tell me that it is “just an expression”, that it “doesn’t mean anything” but your subconscious doesn’t know that. It creates the free radicals that that feeling causes and goes on with its other business. I know that people ingest things that are bad for their biology all the time and usually it is a conscious choice, like smoking, drinking, eating foods with unhealthy additives, but why choose one more thing as silly as ‘an expression’ to bring down your body?

I am not sure I understand that. People say that they want to be healthy, they want to be pain free, they want to feel good, but they don’t want to give up the things that are making them ill.

I was at my chiropractor for lower back pain, and we were having a discussion about world matters. I made the offhand comment that “it makes my butt twitch” and before I finished the sentence, my lower back went into a very painful spasm. The Dr. said, “I think I see your problem and maybe you should change your vocabulary.” Your body listens to what your brain is thinking and reacts to it before you even are aware of it. You know, like when you see what looks like a bug or something scary and you react to it before you truly know what it was.

I learned that lesson on the spot and I changed my vocabulary. I don’t use that expression anymore. I made a conscious choice to not call that pain into my biology and I advocate that by consciously choosing to not use the 4 letter “h” word you will make a mental step in the right direction of your goal of wholeness. After all that is what Evolution of Self is about isn’t it? That is what you are working for, right? Balance, wholeness, wellness?

Listen to what you say/think and decide whether it is worthy of you, do your words reflect what you truly want to call into your life? If so, great; if not, then choose to better your situation by improving your vocabulary. Bright Blessings, ChessieA group of colorful hearts
