Did you ever play outside, in a world of your own making? Where everything you
wanted was there for your enjoyment, for your satisfaction? A world that
adjusted to your script as you changed your story line to fit where you wanted
it to go next? A special place that was just for you and maybe a friend or two.
I challenge you to go back in your mind and heart to that time and recall how
you felt, the excitement, the pleasure, the joy. Now hold on to that as you
continue reading.
When you have a desire you create a ripple in the Universal energies that can,
if driven correctly, manifest your desire. Just having the thought, the desire
is not enough; you must drive it with something. That something is emotion,
emotion that is fueled by your imagination. What you can imagine and become
excited and joyous about is what will manifest. CAUTION: the same is true of
the energy created by the emotion of fear. Because any strong emotion will
drive manifestation you should be sure that you don’t fuel your nightmares,
fuel only your dreams.
You may ask how to start. I suggest that you use your forgotten ally, your
imagination. Get a clear picture in your imagination of just what you want to
create. Put in the details and get excited about it. Feel how you will enjoy it
when it is manifest and enjoy that sensation, hold it as long as you can.
Remember the feeling every time you think about your desire, your goal, your
dream. In order for you to “create”, your thoughts, attitudes and emotions must
be focused and directed toward a productive end so that their power is molded
into the force that will bring you what it is that you desire.
Your next step is to do the next thing needed to make your desire happen,
change any attitude that may interfere with your goal, talk to others, tell
your friends, make plans, lists of materials or steps that you need to work
through to create this desire. Decide how the list needs to be handled,
prioritize first, second, next etc. and do something every day that moves you
forward. All the while, keep your emotion focused on the finished project. Not
necessarily the exact outcome (that can be distracting) but on the excitement
and joy of creating this thing you are manifesting. The idea is to feed the
emotion of your desire and keep it strong, focused and positive. If you allow
doubt or despair to creep in (it will, we are human after all) let that be your
signal to take a SHORT break and re-group. Take an hour (set a timer) or a
weekend, just walk away and let your mind rest. Chances are that you have either
missed a step or a priority is in the wrong order. Both of these can be fixed
and the joy and excitement will return.
You may ask what if I have a setback. Same answer: give yourself a break and
your mind a rest and the answer will appear, maybe as a new idea for a solution
or a different thought process, but you will get an answer. Remember that “you
don’t have to push a river, it already flows.” (© Chessie Roberts “Don’t Push A River” from ‘The
Angles Sang’) If you
don’t put garbage in your river that will block it, you can guide it in the
direction you want it to go.
Wishing you Bright Blessings and joyous and imaginative creating.

WHAT ARE YOU CREATING? SOME QUESTIONS FOR GROWTH
WHAT ARE YOU CREATING?
SOME QUESTIONS FOR GROWTH
A positive, focused,
conscious aware life does not just happen, you must create it. And that is
where Evolution of Self; Journey into Mind, Body, Spirit Balance is set to take
you.
Are you grounded? Connected to your source, the one which sustains and supports
you? Are you centered? Is your energy system open enough to allow the free flow
of Natures energies through you; energies that connect you to your world and
the Universe?
Do speak to yourself in a correct, loving and positive manner? Does this
include others with whom you come in contact? Do you lift others to their best
advantage? Are you empathetic? Do you put your wellbeing first so that you are
strong enough to help others? Do accept what you are truly responsible for? Can
you keep your cool in an intense situation?
Can you clearly visualize your goals so that you recognize them when you get
there? Can you communicate this vision to another? Do you consciously shield
yourself from negative input (as best you can)?
Can you/do you surrender all fears to the flow of Universal energy? Can you/do
you accept that you and others make mistakes, sometimes grievous ones, and not
allow those mistakes to cloud or poison your mind and forgive? Do you/can you
accept and forgive your own shortcomings? Do you/can you accept that love is
energy and so will always be a part of you and be born again as new loves? Can
you/do you accept you as you are by changing for the better what you feel you
need to change and genuinely love yourself? Do you/can you accept the cosmic
truth ‘that all is one’ and feel connected? Can you/do you let things
(material, emotional and spiritual) go because you know that since all is one,
nothing and no one is ever lost to you or gone from you?
If you have answered “No” to any of these questions then there is room to work
to regain your mind, body, spirit balance.
Bright Blessings, Chessie

Think not,
To follow my path,
In my footsteps,
you may walk,
but know now,
that the path ahead of me,
is not the path I leave behind.
My foot prints,
leave their marks,
My energy continues to ripple,
upon the surroundings,
Our presence,
changes all it touches
the path we walk,
changes as it changes us,
no matter how close you follow,
the place you step,
is not where I stood.
you watch me walk on,
and in watching me,
you change your own path,
and you change mine.
I found this to be a very deep and truthful statement that is not something we
regularly consider; the fact is that by walking a path, as it changes us, we
change it. Sometimes for the better, sometimes not but change is inevitable.
Still, following someone walking a path that you feel is worthy of you is a
good thing; just realize that as you walk it, you make it your own. So, as you
grow, evolve and rise, realize that you affect that which affects you.
Thank You Mr. West and Bright Blessings to all.

I LOVE THIS PERSON BUT WHERE DO THEIR ACCUSATIONS COME FROM?
BUT WHERE DO THEIR ACCUSATIONS COME FROM?
Those of you who have taken Evolution of Self; Journey into Body, Mind, Spirit
Balance are familiar with the terms, “core values”, “life experiences” and
“mind-stream ©”. These are imbedded, deeply seated programs that run under
every action you take and every idea or perception that you have about the
world and the people around you. All of these reactions are filtered through
your programs. People will respond from these two bases of operation every
time; the higher the stress, the closer to this basis one’s reactions are.
The more enlightened person has gone within and examined their personal
programming and taken the proper steps to correct what they can and rise above
what they cannot. The less enlightened person continues to operate from a less
evolved standpoint.
One’s core values are the “lines you will not cross or tolerate”; lying,
stealing, murder, judgment and the like. Everyone has them in differing degrees
but not everyone adheres to them in all situations. The challenge is how high
you set your personal bar and how often you choose to limbo under it. The more
enlightened, higher vibrational a person, the truer they will be to these core
values and the less they will accept lowered values in those around them. I am
not speaking of judgment here; I mean that they will just not be around those
who are not coming from a like starting point.
For those who have not yet done the work to better themselves, you will find
that they are either living with and operating from either denial or ignorance.
If they are coming from denial, they will more likely than not, wish to stay
where they are. This comes from “the demon you know” thought process. Humans
get comfortable with the situation in which they find themselves most often and
choosing to see the need for change is scary and uncomfortable. Stepping out of
one’s comfort zone into the unknown is often so frightening as to be
paralyzing.
Once it is
realized that “When you get to the end of all the light you know and it's
time to step into the darkness of the unknown, faith is knowing that one of two
things shall happen: either you will be given something solid to stand on, or
you will be taught how to fly.” (Edward Teller) you will be able to find
the strength and faith in yourself to move away from the pain and toward
growth, positivity and enlightenment.
Denial is a
tough nut to crack and best done from the INSIDE realizing that something is
wrong and feeling the need to WANT to change. Until the person comes to this
understanding within themselves, trying to ‘change them’ or ‘show them ‘the
error of their ways’ is frustrating, futile and self-defeating and it really
annoys them.
If on the other hand the person in question is coming from a platform of
ignorance; they will more than likely see (eventually) where their work needs
to begin. This dawning usually comes (most of the time slowly but each person’s
timetable is different) from the observation of those around them who are
making life work. The ignorance begins to lift, and the person begins to
question their place in the scheme of things and find their answers, which of
course leads to more questions…more answers…more questions… etc. but that is
how growth and waking up works.
Life experiences are what any person has lived through. They are the lessons
each person learns (or doesn’t) about the results they received from the
choices that they have made throughout their respective life time. These
experiences color a person’s feelings, ideas and perceptions about everything
on many levels. As with anything else, these can be changed for the person’s
betterment and for the greater good should the person choose to do so. The
awareness of the fact that one always has choices is what brings on the desire
to want to choose to change and that depends upon one’s mind-stream©. If the person lives with and enjoys
the perceived benefits of victim think, chances are they will not want to
choose change. Once you are aware that you make your own destiny, you are
either freed or you run and hide. Hiding from the truth of a situation is never
the right choice. If you can learn to look for solutions rather than problems,
your life will be awesome!
Now ones “mind-stream”© refers to the path ones thought
processes generally run. If a person bases their existence on lying to get by,
that person thinks everyone lies and therefore they project that onto the world,
so they trust no one. The person whose mindset is to steal, cheat, make
excuses, slack off, or any other thing one can accuse another of doing works
the same way; abuse begets abuse and mind-set begets mind-set. If, however
(once again at the risk of repeating myself) you have chosen to go within and
examine and redirect your mind-stream so that you have changed these
perceptions of the world and understand all of these human short comings you
see that there are things and people you don’t need to try and fix. This is
true because, you are the only one you can control. The mature, enlightened
individual can and does allow others and things to just be what they are.
Your best help for humanity is to show all those around you a life well lived
and one that is working. As my mother used to say, “Tend to your knitting
and others will tend to theirs or they won’t. If you are busy doing the right
thing, you will spread that behavior to those watching you.”
Bright Blessings, Chessie

WHY AND HOW SHOULD I MEDITATE?
WHY AND HOW SHOULD I MEDITATE?
I have been asked about meditation and how to use it properly many times so I
decided to address the question this week.
Meditation and the quieting of the mind is a method by which you can listen to
and hear what the Universe and the Guides have to tell you. When you pray, you
are asking for something. If you pray with intent, gratitude and love you are
more likely to receive what you ask for because of the vibrations you put out.
But the act of meditation allows you to "just be". It allows you to
take in the quiet noise of the music of the Universe. It attunes you to the
vibrations of the creative energies of the Universe, the energies from which
you came.
That re-connect is what aware, awake humanity strives for and meditation is one
way to achieve it. Most who come to me with this question think that quieting one’s
mind is like flipping a switch and I assure you that it is not like that at
all. Just as with any worthwhile pursuit, it is a practiced and learned thing.
You must truly want to achieve the ‘quiet’ and practice getting there each day.
To attempt it a few times and then give up will gain you nothing.
My suggestions for beginners are first, determine a time of your day that is
the least involved. This will not be the same for everyone, this is YOUR
schedule. Then turn off all the phones and the louder appliances, darken the
room if you can, take off your glasses if you wear them and close your eyes.
Breathe deeply and blow it out, letting go of all stress and the ‘stuff’ of
your day. You may need to do this several times to get it all out but that is
ok.
As you let go of your day, feel yourself sink into being one with the energies
around you. This too will require practice so don’t be discouraged. I suggest a
mantra to help keep your conscious mind busy so that you can concentrate on
what your subconscious mind is telling you. A mantra can be any power word or
phrase that is a positive and easy to repeat or it can just be Ohm (the sound
of the Universe) you just continue to repeat it as your mind slows down.
You will have what I call busy thoughts such as; what should I fix for dinner,
the project is due tomorrow, why am I sitting here…etc. When it happens (it is
normal, don’t panic) just let the thoughts pass through, don’t address them or
deal with them, just let them go. At first you will feel inundated and a little
overwhelmed but as you continue, they will become less and less frequent and
demanding. If there seem to be some that just will not leave you alone, write
them down to relegate them to ‘later’. By putting them on paper, you let your
mind know that the thing is not forgotten but that it (your mind) does not have
to hold on to the thought for you. That is what most of your busy thoughts are,
your minds attempt to remember everything, writing the events down lets your
mind move on to other things.
I have been doing this for many years and, as I become more and more tuned in;
I am also becoming able to 'feel' messages form the cosmos as they come to me
during the day. This is something you can achieve and the benefits are many.
I wish you well and Bright Blessings, Chessie

THE BEE AND WE
THE BEE AND
WE
Science tells us that, aerodynamically speaking the design of a bumble bee is
completely wrong. It has too much body weight vs too little wingspan therefore,
it is incapable of flight; and yet, it flies. Why do think that is?
I hypothesize that it can fly for the simple reasons that 1) no one has told it
that it can’t and
2) it was
created to do just what it does and that includes flight. So to take this a
step further, since we are born, created if you will, to accomplish certain
things in our life, why do we continually listen to those who tell us we can’t
do them.
If, like our friend the bumble bee, we just concentrate on what we know we can
do rather than taking bad advice from those who have decided that, because of
some preconceived notion they have about us, we can’t accomplish whatever we
wish, we can do anything we desire.
The point here is that we were created to accomplish certain things in our
lifetime and have been given everything we need to do that. Because we are
humans and not bees, we can and do listen to bad advice from those we feel we
can trust rather than listening to ourselves. This immature need to create
ourselves by committee causes us to forget what our assets are and how to use
them. The good news here is all we have to do is to wake up to our truth and
remember our potential.
So no matter what we look like to someone else; no matter what others think of
us and our potential or talents; we are here for a reason and by embracing our
true nature and reconnecting with it, we are unstoppable, we are exponential,
we are extraordinary and we can fly.
Bright Blessings, Chessie
